Bichon Frise - Bischon Frise

Expert: Kaza - 7/27/2009

Question
I have two bischon. One of them (he is 4) sometimes throws up his food. The vet does seem concern about it. I cook their food - usually chicken beans rice brocolli carrots mixed. Also is milk good for them. They love it.

Answer
No milk is not good for them, they dont need it and in fact all it will do is encourage vomiting, diarrhea and obesity.
If a dog gulps his food down he may then vomit it back up, this is normal, simply make his meals smaller  and give him them spaced out rather than all at once. You may also like to invest in a special bowl for feeding that prevents this happening.
Try not to give  too much broccolli , this is one food that needs to be given in moderation.

Hope this helps,.
