Bichon Frise/maltese

Question
I keep reading when looking at maltese pups for sale
ads about restrictions and endorsements or the lack of them that come wity the pup. What are these?

Answer
Hello Katie
if a bloodline is excellent and can be an asset to any existing bloodline in any country then in reality an endorsement shouldnt be placed upon the potential for breeding. However if an existing bloodline is not good , has genetic disease alomg the path then endorsements should be placed to prevent that from spoiling a gene pool. These endorsements placed via the KC in the UK can be removed by the breeder at a later stage if shall we say the dog in question proves sound and after health testing is excellent, any breeder who simply removes because of pressure from an owner is irresponsible.

I hope that helps
