Question
hi.. i have a 3 month old bichon called molly that i have had for nearly 4 weeks... in the 4 weeks i have had her she has learned to sit, paw and say please, also she is doing really well with her house training apart from the odd wee in the house... the problem we have is when she is left on her own which is only 4 hours a day, 3 days a week, she rakes the carpet up and whines and barks really loud... i didnt know such a little dog could sound like a wolf... anyway i love her soo much and hate to leave her but apart from the 3 days a week for a few hours, i take her everywhere with me... at the minute i am keeping her in the bedroom for the 4 hours and she has wrecked the carpet at the door trying to get out... i have to keep the door shut because she cant get down the stairs yet and also we have gaps in the bannister at the top of the stairs.... do you think this is a puppy thing and is there anything you can suggest i do to help the situation... hope you can give me some good advice thanks emma p.s also can you please give me some advice on how to clean the eyes... she has quite bad tear staining thanks emma

Answer
Hello Emma
it is very important that you start crate training this little one. All of these probelmsa re puppy issues but they will carry on into adulthood if you are unable to control it. The very best way is crate training and will resolve ALL puppy training issues within a very short space of time.
