Hello Gail alot Depends on what diet you are using, in the main you should stick to the diet the breeder used for at least 12 weeks, they should have provided you with enough food for a week then you should buy the same food and follow the guide lines on the pack if its a dried puppy food.
If its a natural diet home made you should ensure the dog receives all the essential vitamins and minerals needed for daily use and it should be higher in fat, calories, energy than an adult food as puppies grow very quickly.
