Question
my 3 and a half yr old male bichon who up until the last twelve months was so loveable has become so aggressive with a few members of my family for no apparent reason hes got to the point now where we are afraid to approach him sometimes because he can turn so quickly n he really goes for us can u give us any advice as its now got to the point where we are seriously considering re homing him

Answer
This is becoming increasingly more common. Is he neutered which may help, he is guarding his most influential pack member YOU and is rather normal if you were a dog.I AM AFRAID ITS ALL ABOUT RESETTING HIS DOGGY BOUNDARIES because they have become somewhat lost due to humanisation of your pooch. So start crate training him again, dont allow him on furniture without the permission of the human in charge. rewad good behaviour, not bad.
NO WILL BE A NEW WORD IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD, use it wisely and frequently around him.
