Bichon Frise/Behavior correction

Question
Our 7mo. old Bichon male has decided that when we either pick up his leash or say "come on lets go" or just ask him to come, that is his cue to grab a toy and run or just dodge and keep out of reach as though it is a game to him.  How do we stop this behavior???!!!

Answer
Dont shout come on lets go, the leash should be used for working as such you should wait until the dog is calm and walk to him and without talking place the leash and collar on and then say walk on.

It isnt bad that the dog is doing this its just an inconvenience  . The dog appears to enjoy his walks so make them entertaining as much outside as inside his home environment. Take a toy to be throw for him to fetch, teach him to fetch come back and find hidden items.
