hi, about two months ago i was gifted a bishon frise and she is great. the only problem is she doesn't use the bathroom outside, she goes on paper indoors.  she also wakes me up on weekend mornings maybe because she is used to me waking up early on weekdays  . i would like to know if i should put her on a feeding schedule and how do i get her to use the bathro outdoors? she is five months old. further more, I have reason to believe she might have been abused because at first she was really scared but not so much now.  what can i do? thank you

OH HI its all about being patient yet consistent, start to move the papers towards the back door daily so she can see she is being taught to move to a place that you find acceptable, after a week the papers will be to the rear exit. Then move them outside and make her potty outside on the papers when she does congratulate her, after a few days remove the papers and still make her go outside. This is a taught method.
Its also a good idea to crate train her and no feeds after 6pm, they will however start at 8am the following morning, place her outside as soon as she has eaten and do not bring her back in until she has done her potty.
She will adopt your routine quickly so start to change it now and good luck]
