Hello. I plan on adding a German Shepherd puppy to the family and I have a 4 year old female Bichon. I love German Shepherds. I would love to have a female. But I don't want 2 girl dogs going at it all the time. I want them to get along. But I'm confused if I should get a female or a male. Which gender of a German Shepherd should I get if I already have a female of a different breed?
I would get a female , introduce them slowly and dont favour one over the other, if the GSD is a pup they will grow together and become very good friends, dont worry about size difference as the Frise tends to rule larger dogs anyway. Treat both the same always and problems wont occur.
