hi
i have a 4 yr old bichon who never makes a mess in the house but has started pooing and it is very runny, he also scratches or licks his fur until it is bleeding and the fur never grows back, can you give me some advice please?

Hi Deborah I think there is more than one issue going on here. The diarrhea may be associated with his diet as is the scratching. I would initially alter his diet to a natural one that should resolve some if not all of these health concerns. The diarrhea can also be caused by stress due to the itching which will need to be treated,  I would wash him in neem oil shampoo, make sure his vaccine and worming protocol is up to date and remove all scented products from within the home asap.
