Hi i had my 2 year old bichon mated 8 weeks and 2 days ago she has shown all the behavioural signs of being pregnant has enlarged nipples seems to have a tiny bump? maybe but hasnt put any real visible weight on could she still be pregnant and just hiding them? What do i do if we get past 9 weeks and she is still acting like she is pregnant? Thanks

Well at 8 weeks she will be ready for delivery if she gets passed 9 weeks and has not delivered pups then I suggest getting her to a vet, there are a number of possibilities, one is she is pregnant and she will whelp in a few days, 2 she is having a phantom pregnancy and this would require veterinary intervention as it can lead to pyometra a life threatening womb infection and finally she should be fully health tested prior to any mating in case she has any number of genetic health disorders.
