Bichon Frise/Bichon puppy licks us constantly

Question
Hi,

I have a 7 month old male Bichon puppy who licks me and my kids constantly especially when we have on sunscreen or lotion.  How can I get him to stop doing this?  We say "NO" and try to redirect his attention but nothing works.  He won't stop licking.  What can we do?

This is normal behaviour for a puppy , he is grooming you and or he likes the taste of the sunscreen, simply get up and walk away. Constant telling him to stop will just encourage him to dislike humans so not a great idea. remove yourself from his location and it will stop.
