Question
my 2 year bichon has all red noise, not black:( is there anyway i can improve pigmentation? food? meds? anything? i heared that in sun noise gets darker, last summer it helped a bit but not this one..

Answer
Hi well in part it is genetic based but also as the sun begins to fade the doggies nose gets lighter, this is generally termed snow nose, I can say that adding a little kelp into the food will help a little with weather based pigment loss but as the spring returns usually the nose colour follows.

It is always better to try to feed your doggy a natural diet with lots of vitamins and minerals. This way health in general improves in comparison to dogs on a dry diet. Fish that is high in omegas and oil are one of the best foods to feed all dogs, it gives their brain nourishment , this calms and ensures they are always fully functioning mentally. It nourishes joints and bones and keeps skin and hair in tip top condition. The protein that is in these fish is as good as meat so the gut is always being fed well.

Good luck
