Expert: Breeder - 1/24/2007

My girlfriend and I have had a Bichon for about a year now but she still isn't house trained. She gets out a lot all through the day but no matter what we try she still comes in right after she has been out and does her business inside.  She knows it's wrong and we rub her nose in it but to no avail.

I awnser this question all the time.  Bichons are extremelly diffuctuly to hourbreak.  They mature late and ar very stubborn to hourbreak.  

If you got her from a pet shop where they are all from puppy mills you may never housebreak her.  She is dyfuctional from the who puppy mill experience.  Being taken way too early and shipped accross country.  

It's just part of owning a bichon.
