Bichon Frise/Black spots

My Bichon is 9 months old and on his left side he has a huge black spot under his coat we thought was a birth mark and now we have noticed black spots around his (little boys thing) and also i have noticed his ear area is darker under his coat, is this something to worry about

My dear this is a good sign that his pigmentation will be good. It wont guarantee this but , in the main he should not develop a very pink nose and pink eye rims. This is desired with all bichons and often causes quite a stir from unsuspecting owners. I have a litter here only 5 weeks old and all over them are these pigmentation markings, this I feel is a show litter.
