Question
My bichon is almost a year old and she is still chewing and biting on things in my home. If a pair of underwear is left within her reach, she will find it and chew on it for an hour. She also likes to chew and put holes in the blankets on our bed, where she sleeps as well.
Is this phase she will grow out of, or do we need to take her to an obedience class?

I don't think obedience class will help.  Usually after there adult teeth come in they will stop chewing.  I would make sure she has bones to check on.  Go to the butcher and get raw cold nuckle bones.  Replace them daily with new bones.  She will love them and stop chewing on your clothes.
