We have a Bichon Frise male puppy who is 9 months old, is it ok if he has low fat milk with his cereal each morning, it is only about 125mls of milk which is put on his wheat and bran.

No milk, it's not good for him.  Also are you feeding him human cereal?  That also is not good for him.  My opinion on food is to go Raw, also known as the BARF diet (Bones & raw food)  there are lots of companies that make the raw diet and it's also not very hard to do your self.  Just get some books on the subject, read up before you start this.  A great food is "The Ultimate Diet" by Kymberly Schultz.  You can get it on Amazon.com
