Question
Our Bichon Frise will be 4 years old the 1st of August. We moved from our house(which she has lived in since she was 6 weeks old)into an apartment. She has really done good no accidents but she hears noises that she didn't hear in the house and now she is starting to bark and growl and she wants me to hold her while I'm setting and carry her when I'm walking help me, Please.

Answer
Hi Charlotte
To be frank the upheaval in a dogs life is far more prevalent than a humans .This is very normal and it would astonish me if she wasnt showing these signs.

Walk her around the new place show her that she can be able to settle, in short dont pick her up, walk her through the anxiety she is feeling. The best thing you as a pack leader can do is lead her ,not mother her. Dogs need to be lead, they need to follow a strong alpha dog this is you. If you dont behave in a strong manner she wikll become anxious. I suspect that you need to feel at home and at the moment you are questioning your decision to move. We ahve all been there so dont fret.
