Question
I have beeen trying to find the perfect dog breed for me and I think it might be a bichon.I've researched these dogs for awhile and found that they are hypo-allergenic,good for townhouse/condo, and aren't yippy.Although I keep reading that some bichon's bark excesivly while others are quiet as a mouse!Are they yippy dogs or not? Also, if I am gone from the house for say 4 1/2 hours a day mon-fri should I get 2 bichons so one doesn't get bored?

No dog is hypo -allergenic.  Get a dog from a reputable breeder to avoid a lot of problems..  The time period you state your are away from the house does not  seem to be a issue.
