Question
Our bichon is 15 weeks old and she will not stop growling and biting the whole family. She does not do it playing it is just being aggresive. I am worried she is going to really hurt my four y/o one of these times. She even bit her in the face thank goodness it didn't break the skin. This morning she bit me. What do I do?
Thanks
Kris

Answer
You have a big problem.  First your dog / puppy came from a poor source, this is not bichon behavior.  If you purchased you dog from a pet store, they all come puppy mills and are dysfuctional for the most part.  The problem you are having is not behavior it's from being dysfuctional.  If the dog bites someone outside of your family you will have big legal problem.  You cannot place the dog in another home without tell them about the problem, because if the dog bites someone you can be sued.
YOur only option is to put the dog down.  Next time you purchase a puppy find a reputable breeder.  The Breed clubs are the best source.  For bichons it's The Bichon Frise Club of America, www.bichon.org
