Question
my bichon, has hair loss in spots over his back about 3 inches in diameter. It is pink but no itching, or leisions.
any idea what this is and what causes it?
This could be due to a number of problems, allergies, flea allergy, grooming issues and genetic issues. I suspect its more likely allergy related. Take the dog off all commerial dog food and introduce oatmeal, green beans, omega 3, 6, 9 as a supplement. White fish, carrot batons ad also give raw food a try , There are many on the market prepared for you.
Dont use scented products, check for fleas and buy an oatmeal or alow vera based shampoo.
