Subject: bearing retainer

Question
I have an old Raleigh technum bike "1987" where the bearing retainer is bad. Can I replace it with any of the new bearing types? what type? or are the old bearing retainer still available? where?

Answer
You can replace the retainers with new bearing types as long as they fit correctly. You can find these at your local bike shop. The old retainers are still available but not all bike shops will carry them. If you have any further questions, please ask.
