QUESTION: Hello, I just bought a bike from someone from eBay.

I have taken the bike to be serviced so that I can use it, but was told that the front and rear suspension have just about had it. Could you please tell me if you know of anywhere I can get replacement suspension cheaply? Please keep in mind that I am in the UK so links to websites which are American-based.

ANSWER: The cheapest place you can get these replacement shocks would be an authorized GT bicycle dealership. If you do not wish to put the same make and model for replacement shocks, you will be able to get the new front and rear suspension from your local bike shop. Could you please tell me when this bike would have been manufactured and can you tell me the exact name of the bike and the model number, also do you know the exact name of the suspension (front and rear) and whi manufactured them?

I'd like to be able to look on a website such as eBay to get a good idea jus how much it would cost to buy replacement suspension.

I'm sorry but just by looking at the pictures I can't tell you what year it was made in, the suspension make and model and the model of the bike. Your best place to get these is from your local bike shop. If you have any further questions, please ask.
