Bicycle Repair/crankset

I was recently hit on my 2000 Gary fisher Aquila and need to replace the crankset and bottom bracket but I'm not sure what sizes to order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like your model would have been equipped with  cartridge-style bottom bracket bearing, along with a corresponding "square-taper" crankset, featuring a 22T-32T-44T 9 speed ringset. I am unable to find any frameset dimensions to help zero-in on the exact BB bearing dimensions. However, you are certainly not limited to those previously mentioned options; a 2015 Shimano 9 speed crankset and BB bearing can be purchased and easily adapted to your bike. Good luck!

I can answer most inquiries with respect to bicycle assembly, repair, tuning and maintenance. I am less than inclined to speak on such questions as "What kind of bike should I buy?", &/or "What is this bike worth?", etc. Any answers to these types of questions may correlate poorly to an acceptable "fact/sarcasm" ratio.
