Question
hello thank you for taking the time to answer my question. My husband is hazel eyes both parents brown. My mom brown dad very light blue all three brothers green/hazel. I am brown my two children are blue and we are pregnant with third the eye chart didn't even have blue as an option over 11% 38% green b/s two of them already have blue does that mean the chances are very slim b/c green and brown are higher in my chart?

Thank you
Samantha

Answer
Hi Sam
It appears that you and your husband are carrying recessive genes for light eye pigments and there are more  than one pair of genes for eye color.  There was about a one in four chance that you children would have blue eyes.  The odds are three to one your next child will have dark eyes, probably brown.
