Question
hi my name is kendalyn i am 15 and i want to be a marine biologist cause i LOVE the water and the whole plant life and i really want to find a college that is in Texas, because that is where i live and i don't know how far i want to go out of state so if you can help me at all that would be great

Answer
Dear Kendalyn,

You'll certainly have a financial advantage by staying in your home state, and there are good places where you can get a degree in Marine Science in Texas.  Here are the two largest:

University of Texas Marine Science Institute:
http://www.utmsi.utexas.edu/

Texas A & M:
http://www.tamug.edu/mars/

Hope that helps get you started. Good luck!
