Question
Hello,
I was wondering if you would be able to answer the following questions for me:

What is Ozone? What is its chemical formula? Why is it important to living creatures on Earth? Where does it exist primarily? How do chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’S) come into this picture? How long do they remain in the atomsphere? What do you think should be done about the depletion of ozone? What do you think will happen if the ozone layer continues to be destroyed? What do you think the government should do to help?

I can't seem to find an info/answers about the above questions and was hoping you would be able to give me a little in put on them
Thanks so much for your help,

Answer
Ozone is O3.  It is found in quantity in the upper atmophere where it filters out ultraviolet  rays.  If it did not do this we would have an epidemic of skin cancer.  Laws must be enacted to prevent any environmental pollution tha destroys ozone.
