can a man with blue eyes and a woman with dark brown eyes have a child with dark brown eyes?

Hi Lorie,

Thanks for the question!  Without knowing what genes the mother and father are carrying for eye color, which is somatically linked, it is likely that 25% of the children will have dark brown eye color.  Check out this link for an eye color genetics calculator:
