Question
QUESTION: Before I ask my question, I would like to thank you.
So here it goes: What are some of the diseases that involve various membrane proteins? (If it's not much of a disturbance, please do include their symptoms and treatment.)

Again, thank you very much.

ANSWER: Hi X: Thanks for your question.

There must be hundreds of membrane protein diseases and disorders that have been described.  Among them are:

Zellweger syndrome.
Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD).
Refsum disease
Cystic fibrosis
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Miyoshi Myopathy
Danon disease
Batten disease
Hereditary stomatocytosis
Sickle cell anemia

All of the lysosomal storage disorders (over 40) including Niemann-Pick disease

All of the mitochondrial membrane disorders (multiple) including progressive myoclonic epilepsy.

Which one(s) are you particularly interested in?  Then we can talk.

Either that, or you can look up these conditions individually and discover their symptoms and treatments yourself.

Good luck.  Write back if you have more questions.

and

Wikipedia

You can look up these conditions there.
