Question
Sir,
I would like to know why the blood vessel going from the right ventrical our heart to our lungs is called the pulminary aretery and not a pulminary vein?
Also, why is it said that a human can survive with 1/3 of his lungs?

Answer
All vessels carrying blood away from the heart are referred to as ateries and vessels carrying blood toward the heart are veins.
I cannot answer about the lung question.  I have never heard of this but I would assume that the quality of life in this case would not be good
