Question
does someone who is physically fat really have too much fat in his body.why do some people who do sports everyday still adds in weight is it natural

Answer
Dear Pascal,

Muscle mass actually weighs more than fat mass, so a body builder might be very heavy but have very little body fat.

A person who is overweight in terms of *fat* will usually have adipose (fat) deposits that are evident, and have a body shape not typical of a person of normal weight.  In women, extra fat deposits in the buttocks and thighs, whereas males tend to store excess fat over the belly and around the neck.

Hope that helps.
