Question
Hello.
I'm in a science research class and I need help on finding a topic for the science fair, but it has to do something with nuts. My first topic was doing the Brazil Nut Effect, but my teacher said it was not fully understood yet, so i need to find a new topic quick. Please give me some suggestions. Thank You.

Answer
How about a study on growing peanuts.  Get some raw peanuts (google peanut seeds) Select a problem such as "What concentration of nitrogen works best when growing peanuts?"  You can find some different concentrations of nitrogen fertilizers and plant some peanuts.  Peanuts do take about two weeks to germinate and you measure plant growth.  If you need help with the experimantal design let me know.
I cannot of anything else involving nuts as far as growing them.  The effects of nuts on the human body requires alt of work with physiology
