Question
why the man is becoming older and older year after year?that also related to every living body.what happens in our body that starts degeration after cerain age? why? actually man should be stronger and stronger yaer after yaer, but we see that it does not happens. After certain age man is becoming weaker and weaker, who is doing these?

Answer
Dear Hipandya

There is really no reason to think that a man should become stronger and stronger as he gets older, after a certain point.  Aging is a natural process that starts to occur even at the level of the cells, and while we do not yet completely understand the nature of aging (and it is a HOT topic of research!), we do know that it may involve gradual, unrepaired damage to our genetic material itself.

As our DNA becomes damaged, our bodily functions may be disrupted, and other repair systems that prevent our cells and tissues from breaking down fail.  It's a function of time and exposure to environmental dangers that causes these changes.

Because this is a topic of great interest to almost everyone, there is a great deal of information available on the internet about aging and how we age.  Here are a few good sites you might find helpful:

At the University of Miami, I teach Evolution and Biodiversity, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Ecology, and a variety of seminars (e.g., the Biology and Evolution of Human Gender Roles).

Education/Credentials
I have a B.S. in Biology and an A.B. in English from the University of Southern California (1980). I earned my Ph.D. in Biology in the area of evolutionary biology/visual physiology from the University of Miami in 1989.
