Question
I want to keep my metabolism at peak calorie burning level but reduce my calorie intake. I lift weights 2 to 3 times a week but do very little aerobic work. What is the optimum way to accomplish this?

Answer
Dear Steve,

As you probably know, aerobic exercise is the best way to burn calories.  If you want to eat fewer and burn more calories, then the best way would be to add aerobic workouts to your regimen, possibly every other day and not on the same days you lift weights.

Hope this helps.
