Question
can you tell me what are two ways recombinant bacteria are used for human applications

Answer
Hi Gerald;
I am a diabetic and I take insulin.  The insulin I take is human insulin manufactured by genetically engineered E. coli bacteria.
Bacteria have been altered to produce many enzymes used in food processing.  Go here to find more.
