Question
Hi, I don't mean to be rude but can you please tell me if it is true that when men ejaculate and release sperm, they lose energy and it is hard for them to workout in the gym the same or next day? Thank you.

Answer
Hi Emil;
It is true that sexual activity uses energy but the amount lost depends upon how much activity is involved. That is how much activity was involved leading up to the ejaculation.  Sexual intercourse would involve much more work than masturbation.
I know that athletic coaches discourage players from having sex before a big game.
