Hi Katie:  Thanks for your question.  Actually, I have a question for YOU.

What is the source of these questions?  Are you taking a biology class and don't understand these concepts?  If that's the case, I'm sure the answers are in your textbook.

Are these questions that came up in conversation and you don't understand them?

Are you expecting one word answers?  Each question should be answered with a lengthy paragraph with citations.  Is that what you really want?
