I just need some basic information not to much because i have other stuffs to put in it. So can you KINDLY help me on this one thing. Thank you in advance.

Answer
Dear Renecia,

Transpiration is the process by which plants take up water via the roots, transport it through the stem, and then release it via the stomates in the leaves.  This occurs because of shoot tension and root pressure, which you can read about here:

Those are the lecture notes from my botany class on water movement through plants, and I hope it will help you with your project.

Good luck!
