I'm in 7th grade and im doing a science faire project on " Dose second hand smoke effect plant growth"


my hypothesis is to put one dandylion in my dad's room that is full of smoke and on in my room wich is not .  i need to gather info on it and i cant seem to find any thing

Your hypothesis is a guess as to whether tobacco smoke effects the growth of plants. What you told me was the way you are going to test it. So your problem is
Does second hans smoke effect plant growth?
   Your hypothesis would be
Second hand smoke effects the growth of plants.
Now you design your experiment
 Get some bean seeds and sprout them When they get leaves measure them and put some in dads room and some in yours and keep measuring them

A lot of studies have been done on this.  Type in "effect of smoke on plants" at google and you will see a lot of studies
