Question
most reptiles do not care to thier young ,but some crocodiles do why is that?

Answer
Hi erika
Why questions are in the realm of evolutionary biology. Care of the young is controlled by the DNA of the animal.  Care depends upon the rate of survival of the young. The lower the survival rate the greater the parental care.  It also believed that there is an evolutionary relationship between crocodilians and birds. Birds exhibit great care of the young.
