My daughter wants to do a science fair project involving pimples and the affects on skin but we don't know where to start. Do you have any suggestions?

Answer
The first thing she has to do is some research to answer these questions.
What are the causes of pimples and
What can we do about them?
The scientific method requires that we define a problem, then make a guess about what the answer is and then figure out a way to test it.
The question here seems to be the effects of acne (pimples) on the skin.
Once she answers the two questions I suggested  she may Come up with a problem easier to solve
