Question How Is Diabetes related to Biology?
Answer Dear Whitney,
Diabetes is a disorder in which the body does not properly process sugar, and it can manifest in different ways. You can read more about the various types of Diabetes and their treatments here:
http://www.diabetes.org/
It is related to biology because we are biological organisms, and the scientific and medical communities would be unable to treat this disease without understanding its biology, and how it affects patients who have it.
Hope this helps.
Dana
