what is the importance of studying biology ?

Hi Louie: Every once in a while I get this question and I must admit it amazes me because to me the answer seems so obvious. We are living beings and biology is the study of life. Other then the practical aspects such as understanding about how our body functions so we can maintain good health we must understand our place in the living world and our relationship with all living things.
