Question
Hi, I have a question, I am trying to determine if the 3rd one of these is actually a trick question??

So question 1 said "How many chromosomes do you have in a cell?" I answered 46
#2) "How many pairs of chromosomes in a cell?" 2 pairs, 23 in each
The next question is: "How many pairs of chomosomes do you have?"
Is that the same or a trick? Because it doesn't say "in a cell'.

Thanks,
Shannon

Answer
OK Shannon;
T0 start with this is  not a trick question but it is a bad question because all cells do not the same number.
 Body cells (somatic cells ) have 23 pair or 46 but in cells that have undergome meiosis (sperm cells and eggs There are only 23 chromosomes
