Question
-If a rabbit has eleven offspring can the mother take care of all?
-How long before they can be weaned and separated from their mother?
Thanks,
Matt

Answer
The maximum number of nipples in mammals is usually equal to the maximum number of young the animal can have.  Large rabbits can have 8 to 12 young so 11 could be raised. Baby rabbits are all weaned by 5 weeks.  Weaning can start at 4 weeks with separation from the mother
