Question
Hello mi amore.... I'm back with a new question..... Can air be seen by the naked eye?

Answer
Dear Gesus,

Hello again.  Hope you're having a nice autumn!

Can air be seen with the naked eye?  That depends on what you consider to be "air."  The normal, natural components of our atmosphere (oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, etc.) are not visible to the naked eye, being too small and diffuse for our level of resolution.

But if you consider airborne pollutants to be part of "air", then sometimes air can be visible to the naked eye, depending on what the compounds are, and how concentrated they are.

I can tell you from personal experience that you can often see the air in Los Angeles.  :(  Not a beautiful sight.

Hope that helps.
