Question
EXPLAIN WHY THE INCIDENCE OF COLOR BLINDNESS TENDS TO BE HIGHER IN MALES THAN IN FEMALES.

Answer
Color blindness is a sex linked recessive trait.  The defective gene occurs on the 23rd pair of chromosomes (XX female and XY male) Females must receive two colorblind genes before it is expressed while males only need one because the Y carries no genes.
