Question
How do insects exchange gases?

Answer
Hi! Sonia,

In insects, the exchange of gases takes place through small openings called spiracles (present along the thorax and abdomen). These spiracles take oxygen from the air which finally reaches the tracheal tubes and then finally each cell of the body.

Hope this was useful.
Best,
