Question
Hello Walter,I am an young earth creationist so you know.I have two short opinion questions for you with follow up questions after your response.Does the Cambrian explosion favor creation or evolution?And does the fossil record of plants favor evolution in your opinion?Thank you I am looking forward to your answers

Answer
Hi Kevin;
 The Cambrian explosion and the fossil records give us evidence for an evolutionary process. Evolution means change and it is obvious  that life on earth has changed over time.
 Look up the work of Francis Collins, the man behind the human genome project and his ideas on Theistic evolution.
