Hi I'm doing a project on humans impacts on certain biomes and I've chosen
the grassland. I've been told to find an expert who can answer the essential
questions so I can put together a poster. If you could answer the essential
questions I would be grateful. Here they are:

How has human activity the overall health of the ecosystem?

Have their been specific organisms that have been negatively by human
activity?

Have their been significant conservation efforts to improve the health of this
ecosystem?

What else can be done in order to solve the problem?

Thank you for using AllExperts, but I am afraid that I do not have the requisite expertise to answer your question. My background does not lie in ecology, and I simply cannot answer your questions honestly to the extent that you need. As such, I would suggest that you contact any biology faculty in local colleges and universities with your questions; most of them will be very busy (expect that many will not return your calls) but willing to help you if they are able. You should phrase your questions succinctly and directly, and you should be ready for their responses, which may be somewhat long and have multiple parts. They may suggest avenues of research for you to pursue, instead of merely answering your question, and you should be prepared to do that. Of course, thank them when they are finished. Most faculty enjoy educating the general public about science, but most are also extremely pressed for time. If they do not respond, you should not take it as an insult. Good luck.
