Question
Can my son get hair and eye color from his grandparents even if it differs from mine and my husbands?

Answer
Certainly! You and your husband have received heredity factors from your parents and you  pass those traits to your children.  For example: If you and your husband have dark hair and brown eyes. Could your child be a blue eyed  blond? Yes if both you and your husband received a genes for blond hair and blue eyes from your parents.  All traits come in pairs. What appears depends upon which sperm fertilizes which egg.
